Brandi is a qualified therapist working with Adica Wellness. She primarily utilizes Compassion Focused Therapy to help clients quiet negative thoughts, value their strengths, and lower anxiety, stress, and self-doubt. Although Brandi operates from a CFT perspective she tailors treatment to each client to find the best therapeutic fit for them. It is her belief is that we are all capable of living “better”, even though better looks different for every person. Her role is to walk with you on the path that you’re meant to follow.
Brandi holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Sociology. She is registered with the College of Counselling Therapists of New Brunswick, and is a Licensed Counselling Therapist - Candidate. She is under the supervision of Andrea Sullivan, LCT.
Leigh Anne has been in the beauty and wellness industry since 2005. Born and raised in the Fredericton Area she fell in love with esthetics & attended the Majestany Institute in 2005, after graduating Leigh Anne worked in the network for 2 years in Fredericton, then got the travel bug which led her to Vancouver, Chicago, and Calgary where she worked, coached, and managed for Aveda Salons & Spas for the following 17 years.
Leigh Anne enjoys mentoring, coaching & leading a team! She loves to help inspire others around her to be the best version of themselves, the importance of wellness but yet to enjoy all things that spark joy. On her spare time, you can find her hiking, camping in the summer months, running and adventuring In nature with her daughter.
DR. TARYN DEANE BScKIN ND is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, certified by the College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia. Following an undergrad at UNB in Science in Kinesiology, she completed her training at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine and practiced for 4 years in Vancouver before moving home to New Brunswick.
Dr. Deane's unique method - a blend of herbal medicine, supplements, acupuncture, counselling and Bowen therapy - deals not only with the underlying cause of disease, but also the mindset behind it, creating long-lasting results and happy, healthy patients.
Outside work, you'll find her bumping around town, in the garden or out walking with her dogs, Tina & Malakai.
Nicole was born and raised here in Fredericton, N.B. After working as a Support Services Worker at the DECH for 8 years, she decided it was time to pursue a career that made her happy.
With a passion for human anatomy she enrolled in the massage therapy program at ACTM and in October 2010 graduated with honours. While in training Nicole also participated in data collection and research for a study on Fibromyalgia between ACTM and the UNB Kinesiology Department giving her a wide range of knowledge on the chronic pain syndrome and appropriate treatments associated with it. Nicole has also received training in Active Release Techniques (ART), Reflexology, Reiki, and Cupping Massage.
She is very comfortable with deep tissue work, but more than able to adjust her treatments to the client’s wants and needs. Also a mother of 4, Nicole is very friendly, easy to talk to, and comfortable treating children of all ages. Nicole strives to make her clients comfortable and at ease, and always makes a point to recommend home care to help prevent flare ups in between treatments. Nicole is excited and passionate about her work as an RMT, and finds great joy in seeing the tremendous amount of healing and relief massage therapy can offer.
In 2009, Pamela graduated with honours from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in Fredericton NB. It is there that she also received her certificate of achievement in sports massage therapy.
She began working for herself offering Mobile Massage. She set up in schools, local businesses, and traveled to rural communities. She also worked part-time in a Spa that was located in Fredericton.
Her practice was put on hold for a few years to raise her wonderful son. During that time, her interest in meditation grew. She has since completed workshops in meditation, mindfulness, cupping, and KT taping.
Kaylee McDonald is graduate with honours of Massage Therapy at Eastern College in Saint John, she spend her first year practicing in the city she was born in, before taking the leap to move to Fredericton, and join her husband in the capital city.
Kaylee loves what she does, and brings her passion for her profession to work every day. This translates this into her treatments, as she is eager to help each client with their specific conditions, or concerns.
Some of her extra modalities include Cupping therapy, Hydrotherapy, and hot stone Massage.
Tammy has been practicing massage therapy for over two decades in a wide variety of establishments. A maritimer at heart after a few years posted to Ontario the allure of the salt water pulled her back to this amazing province and Adica is where she choose to start the next adventure.
After graduating Acadia University in Wolfville Nova Scotia and getting her Bachelor of Science degree she entered Kine Concept institute in Fredericton to become trained in massage therapy and achieved this goal in early 2000. A multidisciplinary clinic such as Adica is her preferred environment to work. She has extensive experience in treating TMJ, stress disorders. and muscle imbalance issues do to lifestyle or injury.
Outside of the passion for her career, Tammy enjoys spending time with her family and taking care of the family critters. Exploring the great outdoors is her rejuvenator.
She looks forward to see some of her past clients as well as treating new clients. Your healthcare and comfort is her priority.
Caleb Parker graduated from the Atlantic Collage of Therapeutic Massage in March of 2009. During his study Caleb had a focus on sports massage with a special interest in injury management and prevention. After starting a career in the practice of massage he turned his focus to the study of myofascial release. Over the course of his career Caleb has completed certification in structural myofascial therapy and cranial sacral therapy.
Whether you are suffering from a new injury or a chronic condition Caleb has a variety of therapeutic techniques to help relieve pain and find a larger and easier range of motion.
Jessica Cleghorn joined Adica Wellness upon graduating the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage in 2023. She is excited to be working in her professional career and enjoys a variety of treatment methods. Jess has always had a passion for helping people and wants to continue that passion by working with her outstanding colleagues at Adica Wellness Clinic.
A Fredericton local and a 2019 graduate from Eastern College, Shannen loves working with and helping her community. Shannen started her journey at a spa then gained a new perspective at an alternative health clinic. As a result, she combines a relaxing experience with a holistic approach to treatments. She is passionate about creating plans to help her clients reach their goals on and off the table and has experience working with chronic pain conditions, injury recovery, and mental health conditions.
She has completed training in Cupping, Hot stones, Myofascial release, and Kin Taping.
When she's not in the clinic, Shannen enjoys spending time with her two children and house full of animals, in the garden or curled up with a craft.
Alana is a registered massage therapist with a deep passion and wonder for the abilities and complexities of the human body. Since graduating from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy she has completed additional courses on pre-natal pregnancy massage, pelvic pain and dysfunction, and cupping therapy. She is also interested in working with people with chronic pain, as well as musculoskeletal conditions and postural imbalances.
Alana's treatment approach focuses on myofascial work with movement and mobilization, as well as deep tissue and swedish massage techniques. She strives to create an environment that is welcoming and comfortable. She is passionate about massage therapy and the variety of benefits it can provide.
In her spare time, Alana likes to be outside, running, reading or being creative in the kitchen. She also enjoys going standup paddle boarding with her big dog Burt in the summer, and cross-country skiing in the winter.
Lindsay completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology at Acadia University and graduated with Honours from the Atlantic College of Therapeutic Massage. Lindsay is trained in Swedish massage, hot stone, hydrotherapy as well as myofascial release techniques.
Lindsay strives to provide a comfortable and tailored treatment with a focus on relaxation, pain reduction and injury treatment/prevention.
Joshua Goguen graduated with distinction from Eastern College of Fredericton in 2024. He was introduced to the health and wellness side of pain management in 2018 after a personal diagnosis and has since been passionate about learning more to help others take control of their wellness journeys.
Josh strives for an evidence based approach to treatment to determine what will help clients reach their goals whether it’s to improve relaxation, range of motion or quality of life.
Outside of massage therapy Josh enjoys spending time with his family, learning, and playing a good game of disc golf.

Monica Smyth is one of your two co-owners at Adica Wellness Clinic! Monica is also the owner and director at Comfort Counselling & Wellness! She was born and raised in Fredericton. She is a Licensed Counselling Therapist and also a Canadian Certified Counsellor. Monica identifies as a queer and sex positive therapist. She strives to make people feel comfortable in therapy while also feeling understood and validated.
Monica has been in the mental health field for 6 years and sees a variety of different people for various reasons. She specializes in treating trauma (sexual, childhood, military, accidents, relationships etc), OCD and sex therapy (kink therapy, non-monogamy, polyamory, sexual dysfunction in all sexs, relationship therapy, couples counselling etc). She is also trained in treating personality disorders, ADHD, anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, eating disorders, self-esteem, ART therapy etc. Monica uses a variety of counselling approaches and prefers to tailor therapeutic approach to the clients needs.
In her spare time, Monica loves to spend time with her family, cross-stitch and get involved with the queer community.
