Vertigo – Nicole Gillett

Vertigo is usually explained by you or the environment feels like it’s spinning or moving, it’s illusion of movement but feels like you really are.

Vertigo is usually caused by an inner ear problem, but can also be brought on by a bad migraine, or head trauma. The symptoms of vertigo can be different with everyone but the usual symptoms are nausea, sweating, and abnormal eye movement.

The length of symptoms is different for everyone they can be constant or for a short period of time. A person can also experience visual problems, walking and balance problems, weakness, difficulty speaking and driving. Be sure to seek medical attention when experiencing any of these symptoms. The doctor might want to do blood work or other tests to check for anything else going on. There are plenty of different treatments for vertigo.

There are things you can do right at home but be sure to check with your doctor before trying anything on your own. There are also medications the doctor might want you to try.

As someone who is currently suffering from vertigo I can easily understand how awful it feels and how bad it can get. Mine started about 3 months ago and I just found out a week ago finally what was going on, I am now trying a prescription for it for about a week now with no relief so far but I am hoping soon it will help.
